Backward Compatibility
This basically means that the user can play games from the PlayStationa and Playstation 2 on the PS3. However, early releases in Europe of the PS3 were sold without an EE (emotion engine: a microchip that's a processor) meaning not all games could be played.Various features such as streering wheels that were compatible for the PS2 are not on the PS3 which is a negative.
